Through navigating my era of unconventional horsemanship, I learned that I no longer resonated with the word "horsemanship" at all. This caused me to create something entirely new; a way of being with horses distilled down to one word with deep meaning and great power that lights my soul on fire. Welcome to the world of Equilescence℠!
The term 'Equilescence' was born from the fusion of 'equine' and 'coalescence,' tracing their origins to Latin. While the modern meaning of coalescence signifies 'the joining or merging of elements to form one whole,' its literal Latin translation is 'to grow together.'
I believe this definition resonates profoundly with today's empathetic equestrians in contrast to the term 'horsemanship,' which has been watered down into a broad label for handling, riding, and training horses. To grow together in partnership with horses means to evaluate yourself, your horse, and your relationship through a holistic lens.
Equilescence lessons are centered around:

I'm happy to provide both in-person and virtual lesson options that cater to your specific needs, making it easy for you to choose what works best for your schedule and location.
In-person lessons are offered to those local to Vermont and Northeastern New York.
With each lesson, whether in-person or virtual, you'll receive a complimentary PDF Lesson Summary. It includes your starting point, your short- and long-term goals, a lesson recap, and the homework for that session. Think of it as a friendly guide to keep you on track as you grow together with your horse. This handy resource gives you something tangible to refer back to between sessions, ensuring you stay connected to your progress and goals throughout our journey together.

For new students, a single lesson offers you a chance to assess if my approach resonates with you with no long-term commitment. Together, we can cultivate a breakthrough moment that propels you forward in growing together and in alignment with your horse.

If you're looking to elevate your skills, enhance your relationship with your horse, or if you have multiple horses you want to work with, the Empowered Equilescence℠ five-lesson package offers an ideal opportunity to achieve your short-term goals with compassionate guidance. Think of this package as planting a seed on your journey to grow together with your horse and gradually nurturing it through each lesson into a flourishing seedling that is empowered to continue growing through personalized coaching and support.
This package reduces the individual cost of each lesson to $90 per in-person lesson and $75 per virtual. Additional lessons can be purchased at this rate until ten lessons have been completed, after which they decrease to the rate per lesson reflected in the Equilescence Evolution℠ package.

Rooted in the principles of science, soul, and self, I will guide you through every step of the process, empowering you to ascend to your next equestrian evolution. Whether you're seeking a solid foundation or aiming for mastery, this package offers the perfect blend of structure and flexibility to help you achieve your short and long-term goals.
Your best deal! This package reduces the cost of each lesson to $75 per in-person lesson and $60 per virtual. Additional lessons can be purchased at this rate once ten lessons have been taught.
Travel Fees
Travel is included with in-person pricing for the first 40 miles one way
(80 miles round-trip) then $0.75/mile for each mile after that.
